Today I will tell you about the New York's neighborhoods and the most famous streets that compose this amazing city.
New York City is consisting of 5 boroughs: Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
The boroughs Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island are respectively the countys of New York, Bronx, Kings, Queens and Richmond.
Manhattan is the economic center in the city and It's where New York City has your origins. It's the most inhabited borough in New York and the most inhabited of the country. There are most of skyscrapers and It's where is one of the greatest commercial centers in the world. Manhattan has two financial centers, Lower Manhattan, where is Wall Street ( street where is the Stock Exchange of New York ) and Midtown Manhattan, where is the Empire State Building.
Bronx is located in the north of the city and It's the only borough of New York that is on the continent ( the other 4 cities are located on islands ). It's predominantly residential. It's nowadays, the poorest and the most violent borough in the city, and one of the poorest and most violent boroughs in the country.
Brooklyn was an independent city of New York City, when It was melted to New York. As a result of this, the city has commercial neighborhoods well developed, being the third financial center in New York. It shelters, nowadays, most of port facilities of New York, and part of the industrial establishments in the city. It's the most populous in New York.
Queens is considered the most multicultural borough in United States. It's the largest of the five boroughs in New York. Before being melted to New York City. Queens was consisting of different small cities and small towns. Queens nowadays, is a predominantly residential region and has a large industrial area in south. It shelters two of the principal airports in metropolitan region of New York, John F. Kennedy and La Guardia.
Staten Island is in the extreme southwest of New York and It's the most isolated and the least inhabited borough in the city. It's the only borough doesn't connected to Manhattan Island, by means of a bridge or a tunnel. With few commercial establishments, Staten Island is a residential region with a low population number, having large green areas and beachs. In Staten Island is located Fresh Kills Landfill, which was previously the largest landfill in the world. In Staten Island is being built one of the largest urban parks in the country.
Now I will tell you about the most famous streets in New York, beginning for the amazing Times Square, that is an intersection between two very famous streets in New York, 7th avenue and Broadway.
Times Square is very famous in the whole world, because the most famous stores are there like, H&M, Forever 21, B&H, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Mac, Zara and I couldn't forget the famous Broadway Theater. Times Square is whole iluminated with big screens and bright signs. In Times Square, happens one of the greatest New Year's Eve in the world.
Another very famous street in New York is 5th avenue. The 5th avenue is a paradise who wants to buy to. Very famous places are there like Rockefeller Center, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Empire State Building and the very famous Central Park.
Another famous street in New York has nothing related to purchases. Wall Street ís a famous street where are located headquarters of important business and financial groups. In Wall Street is located the Stock Exchange of New York, the most important in the world.
Central Park is not a street, but is very famous in New York. People from many places go there to doing picnic,running, riding a bike and others. Central Park seems natural but It's almost completely planted, It has artificial lakes and two skating rinks. Actually, Central Park was projected to give a cozier atmosphere in the city.
